QUINT'S SHARK SHACK
and Orca's water bound parking Space

An Extremely Brief
(soon to be definitive)
History and Demise

T he story surrounding Quint's shack is as veritable as that of Orca. Designed by Joe Alves, and built for the production entirely from scratch in a vacant lot on the Vineyard at the tiny fishing village of Menemsha, Quint's shack was never a welcome addition to vineyard property development. Although fitting into the tiny Menemsha trawling alcove like a glove, Quint's shack was forcibly removed following the production wrap for whatever upper crust nonsensical reasoning. Apparently there was no need for affordable housing on the island. To this day a vacant lot sits as a reminder, where Quint once scolded Mr. Hooper for countin' money all his life.
